Cradled in the storybook surrounds of majestic mountains and enchanting lakes, the grand Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
is the retreat of dreams. Nestled within a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site along the Canadian Rockies, the rustically elegant
and historic lodge showcases deluxe signature cabins, award-winning golf, an acclaimed new spa and gourmet restaurants.
THE FAIRMONT JASPER PARK LODGE
Jasper, Alberta, Canada
The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge supremely presents
446 guest rooms, suites and newly updated cabins in
an interconnected forest of cedar chalets and heritage
logwood cabins. Guest rooms offer all the conveniences
of home and more, including upscale country décor,
cable television, Internet access, voicemail services,
plush bathrobes and coffee makers and kettles.
Fairmont Jasper Park has long been synonymous
with royalty — starting in 1939 with King George
IV and Queen Elizabeth who fell in love with the
lodge’s rustic charm. Because the Queen had shared
stories of the beautiful destination of Jasper and the
lodge’s Outlook Cabin with them, her daughters were
determined to travel there and stay in the Cabin. In
June 1980, Princess Margaret spent 10 days in
Outlook Cabin and explored Jasper National Park.
Some 25 years later, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh spent three
nights in the reconstructed Outlook Cabin.
Guests compelled to leave the comfy confines of
their plush accommodations will be equally impressed
with the resort’s other world-class assets. A full-
service business center, banquet facilities, year-round
outdoor heated pool, 18-hole championship golf
course and other recreational offerings cater to the
personal needs of every guest.
Vacationers seeking a more serene sojourn can
indulge at the new 10,000-square-foot Fairmont Spa.
The luxe spa boasts 10 treatment rooms, two couple’s
rooms with Jacuzzis, therapeutic mineral baths, rain
showers and glacial-inspired steam rooms.
Finally, the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge presents
a showcase of exquisite eateries. An idyllic setting for
classic cocktails, the Emerald Lounge marries
conversation with casual dining. For fresh and
nurturing Canadian fare, the Moose’s Nook
Northern Grill is an ideal spot. Bucolic wildlife décor
and the hearth of a crackling fireplace complement a
locally-inspired menu. Finally, the new Cavell’s
Restaurant & Terrace showcases vast panoramas of
Lac Beauvert and Mount Edith Cavel alongside farm
fresh ingredients and savory coastal cuisine.
