OZONE
(Hong Kong)
The view at the top is always best, and Ozone is the highest bar
in the world. This rare-air hotspot on the 118th floor topping
The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong offers stratospheric views over
Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor and landmark buildings, as well
as Kowloon’s skyline.
Sip Dragontinis featuring vodka, raspberry liqueur,
raspberry, yuzu and basil foam designed by international award-
winning mixologist Miguel Fernandez. Cocktail Master Classes
reveal recipe s and techniques. Tapas and sushi are available
too, and a Dom Pérignon brunch on Sundays.
Hang out on the outdoor top-of-the-world terrace, heated
in the winter, or in the glass-fronted bar with avant-garde
design by Tokyo-based interior designer Masamichi Katayama.
The interior’s geometric polygon shapes in stainless steel and
ebony, plus faceted white marble bar, are illuminated in deep
blue light to evoke the night sky. Live music and DJ beats pulse
to 3 a.m. on the weekends.
MERCURY LOUNGE
(Dubai)
Dubai’s stirring “scraperscape” of architectural marvels is
on dazzling display at the open-air Mercury Lounge,
opened at the end of 2014 atop the five-story Four Seasons
Resort Dubai. Overlooking the inspiring Burj Khalifa, the
tallest structure in the world, as well as the sail-shaped
Burj Al Arab, this is the place to get your Instagram on.
Spaces for mingling were designed by Adam Tihany,
named one of the greatest American interior architects by
The New York Times.
The dramatic focal point is a large,
glowing sphere resembling the planet mercury featuring
the Champagne bar serving premier bubbly and caviar
on ice. For a VIP experience, grab one of the Arabic-style
covered alcoves with a modern twist.
The drinks menu features martinis, shooters,
Champagne cocktails and ice pops with alcohol, perfect
after dancing. Cigars are on offer, too.

SKYFALL LOUNGE
(Las Vegas)
Just opened last October, Skyfall Lounge is
the ultimate vantage point to take in the
neon-infused eye candy of the Las Vegas
Strip. Featured on the 64th floor of the
Delano Las Vegas with outdoor and indoor
spaces, the “money view” is looking north
towards the Luxor, MGM Grand and
Excalibur, whereas the southern view features
the glittering lights of the valley stretching
into the distance.
This sky-high bar’s tempo increases as
the night progresses with DJs spinning house
and dance music, as well as live performances.
The mixology masterminds of Proprietors
LLC, who developed renowned Death & Co
in New York, devised the cocktail menu
broken into Effervescent, Shaken, Stirred and
Martini Education categories. Their
strawberry and jalapeño-infused tequila
concoction is called Shake it Off.
Michelin-starred French chef Alain
Ducasse is behind this new landing pad for
the glitterati, located adjacent to his new
Rivea restaurant. His pizzetta and limoncello
baba are nearly as memorable as the views.
