Hotel that opened at the end of 2012.
The hotel is named after the bird nests often
found at the top of the fairy chimneys, which the
locals call tafoni, and the 13 unique suites are named
for the birds, like Green Finch, Turtle Dove and
Hoopoe. The owners brought in architects, interior
designers and master craftsmen to transform each
suite into a unique artistic masterpiece with natural
textures, arched ceilings and slanting light from
interesting windows.
The one-of-a-kind spaces incorporate some
original features like old doors, cupboards and niches,
alongside gleaming marble floors, artisan ironwork
