The Affluent Traveler Summer/Fall 2015 - page 139

this will be a first for Azamara, which is adding seven
Australia and New Zealand voyages to its schedule.
Traveling down Australia’s Pacific coastline, this
cruise line offers an impressive list of Aussie favorites
to explore, including snorkeling from a pontoon in
the Great Barrier Reef, sailing to the resort isle of
Hamilton, observing protected wildlife on Magnetic
Island, taking in Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo, and
enjoying a selection of fine wines and cheeses in
Hunter Valley. The final leg of the journey includes
a full day and night in fabulous Sydney, an
adventure all its own.
Azamara recently added a number of new
tour packages to its cruise schedule, including three
new Mediterranean voyages to its 2015 fall calendar.
Not only do they come with authentic culture, amazing
scenery, and the localized ambience of Spain, France,
and Italy, each cruise offers outstanding value and
great fares, too. Perfect timing between each departure
allows guests the option of choosing to do a short
three-night escape with a single voyage, an 11-night
getaway with back-to-back sailings, or a 15-night
adventure that combines all three.
Departing Nice at 9 p.m. on September 26th,
Azamara’s
Saint-Tropez & Balearic Islands Voyage
is a gem. Although it may only be four nights
in length, what wonderful nights they’ll be, not
to mention the days spent in the warm Southern
European sun without the summer crowds. This
mini-cruise concludes in Barcelona on September
30th, but it doesn’t have to end there.
Choose to stay on board and later in the day,
Quest’s
crew will set sail on an eight-night, round-trip
Spain, Italy, Corsica & Monaco Voyage
that is sure
to please. With fabulous restaurants, outdoor café
culture, countless shore excursions in vibrant cities
like Barcelona, Rome and Monte Carlo, it’s easy to
see why this voyage includes plenty of late-night stays.
On October 8th,
Quest
departs on for a three-night
Corsica & Cannes Voyage
designed for those who love
to travel but may not have a lot of time. It’s the ideal
mini-vacation, offering a whirlwind three nights of
Mediterranean excitement in the historic resort towns
of Corsica and Cannes. With so much to do and see,
it’s the perfect way to end the summer!
