Cunard debuts five new destinations, plus partnerships with Blue Note Records and The New York Times. The cruise
line’s three queens of the sea are renowned for spacious luxury and legendary White Star Service.

— will call on 100
destinations in 34 countries in 2016, and among
them are five new intriguing destinations in Europe,
Canada and the Caribbean.
Queen Victoria
adds Genoa, Italy to its line-up, a
Renaissance-era treasure with ornate palaces and the
largest medieval center in Europe. The ship also adds
maiden stops at Guadeloupe, a French Caribbean
island chain with an active volcano, beaches and
boutique shopping in Pointe-à-Pitre.
Queen Mary 2
will call on two new locations in
Canada. Saguenay Fjord National Park is a wildlife
haven with whales in the waters, and eagles and bears
on land. The Gaspé Peninsula, where French
explorers first landed in 1534, features charming
fishing villages and a rugged coastline.
Queen Elizabeth’s
new destination is Stornoway in
Scotland’s Outer Hebrides dating to the 9th century,
and featuring ancient ruins, seals and sea birds.
The cruise line, established in 1840, continues to
offer the only regular Transatlantic service from the
U.S. to Europe. Collaborations with two notable
companies will enhance many of the 2016 crossings

The New York
Times
will provide interesting programs on a host of
topics, while jazz performers and experts with Blue
Note Records will appeal to music lovers.
Although the three ships echo the line’s prestigious
heritage, they were launched between 2004 and
2010, and offer industry-leading luxury and state-of-
the-art facilities. Grill Suites offer the ultimate
experience with bespoke service, and exclusive-access
restaurants and lounges. The company is acclaimed
for elegant White Star Service, the grandeur of the
Britannia restaurants, and compelling enrichment
and entertainment programs.
All three Cunard ships embark annually in January
on world cruises lasting three to four months.
