quartet hangs above its three-story high skylight-capped
atrium, and the ship’s three stage venue, MusicWalk,
includes a variety of live music nightly. In an exclusive
partnership with the world’s leading center for the
performing arts, Lincoln Center Stage showcases
outstanding musicians performing multiple programs of
chamber music each evening, as well as afternoon
recitals. For the best Memphis music direct from Beale
Street, B.B. King’s Blues Club in the Queen’s Lounge
oers nightly performances by the B.B. King’s All-Stars
Band and at Billboard Onboard, 50 years of chart-topping
hits rock the house each evening, as live musicians
encourage audience participation.
Additional highlights on board, include World Stage,
a trend-setting theater featuring a 250 foot long, two-
story high, 270 degree high-definition LED screen, capable
of showcasing an exciting array of performances and
productions. Greenhouse Spa & Salon oers luxurious
beauty and spa treatments, thermal pools and a heated
ceramic lounge. Digital Workshop powered by Windows
oers instruction by Microsoft-trained techsperts in its
high-tech learning center. Two large swimming pools
encourage recreation and relaxation including Lido Pool.
Its retractable glass domed roof makes it perfect for
evening feature film presentations projected on an
expansive outdoor movie screen.
Koningsdam’s
signature touch however, can be
found in its gastronomic concepts including a number of
extraordinary restaurants and delightful eateries such as
Sel de Mar, a French seafood brasserie and Canaletto, an
Italian “sharing” restaurant. A new Culinary Arts Center
presented by
Food & Wine®
includes a dramatic show
kitchen with its own “green” area to grow ingredients,
and Blend by Chateau St. Michelle includes a wine-
blending and tasting room.
