The spirit of aloha embraces guests from the orchid

on offer like the Hawaiian Canoe Experience, the VIP
service in the new Willow Stream Spa and award-
winning restaurants. The Cultural Coach ensures
guest stays incorporate authentic and memorable
Hawaiian experiences.
The centerpiece of The Fairmont Kea Lani’s
renovation program are the spacious 413 one-
bedroom suites, and 37 two- and three-bedroom villas
situated on 22 tropical acres. The one-bedroom suites
feature a spacious living room with queen sleeper
sofa, entertainment system, iPod/MP3 players,
pillowtop beds with down comforters and wireless
high-speed Internet access. There’s an oversized
marble bathroom with soaking tub and a wet bar.
The two- and three-bedroom villas offer ocean
views, a private courtyard with plunge pool, barbeque
grill, two bathrooms, washer and dryer, and a kitchen, in
addition to the amenities in the one-bedroom suites.
Sun worshippers can choose among three
swimming pools, including an adults-only pool and
two activity pools connected by a 140-foot waterslide.
Ocean activities include snorkeling, sailing, kayaking,
stand-up paddling and scuba diving. There’s a 24-hour
fitness center and a year-round kid’s club. Weddings
and special events are accommodated with planning
services and 36,000 square feet of function space.
Ancient Hawaiian healing rituals and local beauty
products are featured in the new Willow Stream Spa
boasting 13 treatment rooms and oceanside spa
cabanas. It was recently named Hawaii’s Top Hotel
Spa by Travel + Leisure Magazine. Cultural programs
include paddling an outrigger canoe, exploring the
ocean world and hearing Talk Story traditions.
Local produce and culinary traditions feature in
the award-winning fare at the hotel’s signature
restaurant, Ko. It was recently named Maui
Restaurant of the Year. Chef Tylun Pang has created
a Plantation era-inspired menu with artistic
presentation. The three other dining options include
a seafood restaurant, open-air casual restaurant and
poolside grill with swim-up bar, plus a bakery and
deli. There’s a special dining program for children.
