The level of service and the friendliness of the staff

staff at the hotel come from Mexico. They are truly
dedicated to providing the best service possible to
our guests and are able to inform guests on the local
culture, cuisine and customs. IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel
Paraíso is also located in one of the most beautiful
regions in Mexico, offering the perfect combination
of nature, culture, architecture and cuisine.

What would you consider to be
some of the top restaurants in
the area that guests should try?
Tough question — there are so many great options!
One of my favorite restaurants in Playa del Carmen
is Yaxche, a Mayan cuisine restaurant located on
5th Avenue which offers traditional dishes from the
Yucatan region. Lima 1205 is the first 100% authentic
Peruvian restaurant in southern Mexico and is a
cultural experience you won’t forget, so be sure to add
this to your itinerary. If you are craving excellent surf
cultural performances at Fundadores Park. For the
more adventurous type, I definitely recommend a trip
to Xplor Park, which features 14 zip lines, amphibious
four wheel driving adventures, underwater cave
exploring and more. In the evening, the Coco Bongo
show is an incredible experience; a show and nightclub
combined, it is our version of a Las Vegas event! Coco
Bongo features acrobats, dancers and superheroes,
coupled with the best music from all generations.
