signature cocktails and fine wines. Along with providing
Blu-ray technology for presentations or general

And for a break from the action, Fairmont San
Francisco’s Club One at Nob Hill features a state-of-
the-art fitness center, steam and sauna rooms and
therapeutic spa treatments that provide guests with
all the options for a well-rounded luxury stay.
Wining and Dining
The Fairmont San Francisco’s epicurean establishments
herald the hotel’s landmark reputation. For the perfect
afternoon treat, the hotel’s traditional tea service is a
gracious delight. In the grand, sweeping setting of
the Laurel Court, sumptuous homemade scones are
served with lemon curd, English Devonshire cream,
tasty tea sandwiches, beluga caviar, a selection of the
finest teas and Gloria Ferrer champagne.
In the festive Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar, a
tropical forest (complete with a rain storm) is the
setting for live entertainment, dancing and exceptional
Pacific Rim Asian cuisine. Try the Tonga Room’s
signature Mai Tai and award-winning happy hour
buffet. For dinner, the Tonga Room serves up a list of
other savory Asian dishes, including sautéed Imperial
lobster, striped sea bass in sweet and sour sauce and
“Drunken Chicken” marinated in Chinese wine.
For local, traditional and innovative seasonal dishes,
Laurel Court Restaurant has partnered with local
farmers to acquire the freshest, seasonal organic produce
and free range poultry and eggs. The restaurant also
works directly with ranchers to obtain the finest natural
and dry-aged beef, and with Monterey’s Seafood
Watch in purchasing seafood from sustainable sources.
The Fairmont San Francisco has partnered with
local farm-to-bottle brewery Almanac Beer Company
to present guests with The Fairmont San Francisco
Honey Saison, which includes honey from the hotel’s
own rooftop beehives. The Belgian-style farmhouse
ale is available on draft at Laurel Court Restaurant &
Bar. In partnership with Marshall’s Farm, Executive
Chef jW Foster installed the honey beehives in the
hotel’s culinary garden to support the bee population.
The bees’ “Nob Hill Suite B” honey is used in the
hotel’s Laurel Court Restaurant & Bar, in various
desserts, dressings and afternoon tea.
