City Hotels
Perfectly placed in the heart of one of the world’s most vibrant cities, The Savoy welcomes guests for a quintessential
London experience that blends elegant traditions with a modern luxe.
THE SAVOY, A FAIRMONT MANAGED HOTEL
London, England
The Savoy boasts 268 rooms and suites, many of
which afford views over the River Thames and city of
London, and which perfectly combine sophisticated
style with discreet technology. Nine “signature suites”
take inspiration from some of The Savoy’s most high-
profile guests including Sir Winston Churchill,
Claude Monet, Charlie Chaplin, Katharine Hepburn
and Frank Sinatra, and a two-bedroom Royal Suite is
an impressive stately procession of rooms spread
across the front of the entire fifth floor.
The Savoy Academy trains 21st-century butlers
who combine traditional standards of service with the
efficiency of a computer-savvy personal assistant.
Available to all suite guests, butlers can pack and
unpack luggage, press clothes and make dinner or
theater arrangements. Guests who book a one-bedroom
suite or above at The Savoy are treated to “The Savoy
Suite Welcome” and will receive complimentary
round-trip transfers from all London airports and
railway stations, complimentary private bar refreshments,
complimentary Wi-Fi, pressing of one piece of
garment per person per stay, dedicated 24-hour
butler service and a welcome amenity upon arrival.
May 2013 saw the launch of one of the most
exciting restaurant concepts in The Savoy’s illustrious
history, with the opening of Kaspar’s Seafood Bar
and Grill. Kaspar’s offers an informal yet luxury all-
day dining experience within an elegant Twenties-
style setting featuring a show-stopping seafood bar
and panoramic views of the River Thames and
London landmarks. Also new for 2013 is a partnership
with the Savoy Pier, a private pier where several
luxury river yachts are available for private events and
spectacular tours on the Thames.
The most favored of British traditions, Afternoon
Tea, continues to this day at The Savoy in the
Thames Foyer, with finger sandwiches and exquisite
pastries, while Savoy Tea sells the hotel’s own teas
and tea accessories. And as day becomes night, the
hotel’s Beaufort Bar provides a theatrical setting for
champagne, cocktails and cabaret, and the American
Bar, with its reputation as one of the world’s best
hotel bars, harks back to the golden age of cocktails
in the 1920s.
