This year, the new Domes Luxury Residences,
along with the stunning Domes Ultraluxe Villas,
come with the “Haute Living Selection,” essentially
creating an exclusive haute-luxury villa boutique
experience, within the already impressive resort of
Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection. Service
listing offer: 27/7 concierge services, ultra-private in-
villa check-in, exclusive one button access mobile
phone to the villa manager, in-villa open bar upon
arrival, daily aperitivo before dinner and more.
Domes Soma Spa is truly the secret of Domes of
Elounda. Here a black mosaic seawater pool,
surrounded by large tinted glass panels, welcomes
guests to the spa. White Filifili lighting fixtures by
Martinelli float above while objects and furniture by
Moroso, Serralunga, and Bonaldo epitomize this new
level of luxury. Combined with soothing music, one
loses touch with the outside world, achieving a
spiritual sensation that cannot be put into words.
Domes Spa restores what has been lost, delivers
absolute peace and offers completeness.
Wining and Dining
Dining at one of the four restaurants at Domes of
Elounda is an unforgettable experience. Whether you
are looking for a casual beachside setting, a light meal
or intimate romantic dining for two, the resort caters
to all requests and desires.
Topos 1910 is the resort’s award-winning seafood
restaurant and is located right on the seafront, in a lush
olive grove. With its stunning Spinalonga sea views
guests will enjoy the Greek tavern setting during the day
and a fine restaurant atmosphere during the evening.
Yaosai means fortress in Chinese, and we feel we
couldn’t have picked a more suitable name for our
brand new Asian restaurant which offers unobstructed
views to Spinalonga. This cozy, intimate restaurant
appeals to anyone craving something more exotic.
Tholos, the main buffet restaurant, is where
breakfast and half-board dinner are served. Domes
Dine Around program gives all Half Board guests the
opportunity to use a
€
15 meal allowance per person
(
€
7.5 per child) in 1910 and Yaosai Restaurants, as
well as at all special events held at the resort (allowance
cannot be applied to room service).
Mesoyios fusion restaurant brings a unique
approach to Greek and international cuisine, with
fresh and scrupulously selected local ingredients. At
the rich buffet, there is plenty on offer to appeal to all
guests that admire a multicultural diet.
Out and About
When it’s time to step out, there are many incredible
places nearby to explore. Highly recommended are
Knossos and Ancient Olous. Knossos is the largest
Bronze Age archaeological site in Crete and probably the
ceremonial and political center of theMinoan civilization
and culture. The palace appears as a maze of workrooms,
living spaces, and store rooms close to a central square.
Ancient Olous, also known as the sunken city, was
considered to be a city of high importance. Its history
was discovered from diverse inscriptions during the
Minoan Ages. The remnants of the ancient city are
still visible and can be seen on the canal of Poros. In
Olous, the citizens used to worship Dias, Aris and
Artemis Vritomartes. Olous, as a self-governed city
and a center of exportations towards East and towards
the Ionian ports, had its own currency.
