Settled on its own private island in Venice, Isola delle Rose, JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is just a pleasant
20-minute ride across Venice Lagoon to central St. Mark’s Square by complimentary shuttle service.
JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa
Venice, Italy
Opened in March 2015, the resort features 266
contemporary-styled rooms and suites designed
by the architect Matteo Thun. Five distinct
accommodation experiences are at guests’ disposal
and are located in secluded corners of the island: the
Hotel, La Residenza, La Maisonette, L’Uliveto and
Villa Rose. The resort features four restaurants,
including the Michelin-starred Dopolavoro Dining
Room, four bars offering both international and local
cuisine, Sapori Cooking Academy (reservations
required), the largest spa in Venice, a romantic
church for events and symbolic ceremonies, kids club
and family activities, water sports, a rooftop lounge
area with pool offering a dramatic 360 degree view
over Venice and the smooth Venice Lagoon, and lush
green areas that offer a combination of lush tropical
and Mediterranean plants.
All rooms and suites have glass walls or wide
windows offering inspiring views of Venice, Venice
Lagoon, or the century-old park. In addition to
luxury hotel rooms, the resort offers loft bi-level
suites. Some suites offer a private pool or private
garden to enjoy relaxing moments al fresco. Villa
Rose is the resort’s most exclusive accommodation,
offering two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a pool.
For a soothing escape that’s inspired by the
personality of Venice, the resort’s GOCO spa is a
unique place in which to be regenerated while
relaxing amidst the luxury of the most exclusive
treatments. Housed in a simple and elegant building
dating from the early 20th century, the spa — the
largest in Venice — opens like a shell onto the water
and has eight cabins with a view of Venice Lagoon
and a marvelous suite for couple treatments. The
structure is completed by a sauna, bio-sauna with a
wall of salt, hammam, a gym and a magnificent
heated indoor swimming pool that extends outdoors
in a splendid sequence of sliding glass walls.
