Okinawa and Ho Chi Minh.
A full line of shore excursions
will be offered along the way,
giving passengers good reason
to go ashore.
A Haven in the Caribbean
Also making its grand entrance in
the cruise line scene is Norwegian
Cruise Line’s much anticipated
Norwegian Escape.
Taking its first
scheduled voyage in late 2015,
Norwegian Escape
will cruise
Caribbean waters year-round,
offering weekly seven-day
excursions to the Eastern
Caribbean. Destinations include
the U.S. and British Virgin Islands
and the Bahamas. Similar in size
to Royal Carribean’s
Ovation,
accommodating 4,200 guests, it’s
the largest ship ever to home port
year-round in Miami.
Accommodations include
the cruise line’s signature luxury
ship-within-a-ship complex —
The Haven by Norwegian — with
its ultra-luxurious suites; private
restaurant and outdoor terrace,
lounge and courtyard featuring a
retractable roof; swimming pool
and sundeck; and a sauna,
whirlpools and spa; all designed
exclusively for Haven guests.
The
Escape
will also feature a
number of new spaces and
interactive experiences including
the first-ever floating outposts of

Redefining Luxury
Not to be outdone, Holland
America Line is adding the

Koningsdam
to its fleet in April
2016, the first of its two upcoming
Pinnacle-class ships. At 99,500
tons, the 2,650 passenger
Koningsdam
will be the largest ship
in Holland America’s fleet and will
add a number of firsts for the line,
