When Samuel Cunard left Liverpool in 1840 aboard
Britannia
bound for North America, he established a
regular passenger route that has never been interrupted — even in times of war. Today, Cunard Line operates
the only regularly scheduled Transatlantic Crossings between Europe and North America, celebrating their 175th
anniversary in 2015. True experts in world voyages, Cunard has undertaken more world voyages and sent more
ships around the globe than any other shipping line.
