A Museum for
every season
in NYC
New York City is world-renowned for its great art museums and cultural hotspots.
Here are some the city’s most diverse museums…and we’re just scratching the canvas!
So Much Art, So Little Time
A must-see is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Just
approaching the massive staircase to enter this impressive
example of neoclassical architecture will take your breath
away. Originally built in 1880, it spans several city blocks.
The permanent collection offers works of art from classical
antiquity and ancient Egypt. There are paintings and
sculptures from nearly all the European masters, as well as
an extensive collection of American and modern art. The
Met maintains extensive examples of African, Asian, Oceanic,
Byzantine and Islamic art. Other interesting collections
include musical instruments, costumes and accessories,
antique weapons, and armor from around the world.

A Dino-Mite Museum
Make family learning fun with a visit to the American
Museum of Natural History. Its halls are rich in scientific and
cultural content, and there are six floors to explore with
exhibits of natural science and anthropology. Of course,
the highlight of these exhibits is the dinosaurs, including a
Tyrannosaurus rex, a Stegosaurus and a Brontosaurus,
which is bigger than a city bus!

Princess Diana and Johnny Depp, just to name a few. There
are sports stars, historical figures, pop icons and so much
more. Celebrity seekers will be amazed at the exact
